  1. I chose to write about font #5, this font reminds me of something you would find on a high school notebook, or even a poster board type project. I think the fact that it says beverly’s and not something else, adds to my interpretation of it, otherwise it could been seen as something a bit more creepy, like a ransom note font. It is obvious that the creator of the font wanted it to look like it was made from letters cut out of a magazine or new paper. The fact that each letter is almost perfectly spaced makes It seem less realistic, as I would expect to see them oddly spaced and even touching in some spots if it were actually made from cut out letters. The fact that it doesn’t follow the typical rules of writing, such as the first letter being taller than the rest and each other letter being about the same size, does help to make it more realistic, as does the fact that the letters are not all the same individual font or width. The other place I could see this font working is on a movie poster or cover, but it still feels like a younger font and that would be reflected in the movie it is used with.
